Named after the harshest desert of the world, the Gobi collector features an attractive and permanent frame that is designed for good looks as well as weather resistance in both very hot and cold regions. Because of its special absorber coating, the Gobi operates efficiently also in the winter for year round hot water production. Its output will not reduce with age as is so often the case with other solar collectors.

Built to Last
6063 T6 bronze anodized aluminum frame with compression-fitted, molded corner EPDM glass seal holding 5/32" solar glass / structural member.

Strong and durable
Heavy gauge aluminum construction and corner keys offer freedom from distortion for superior wear.  In addition, a unique compression-fitted glass frame and captive header grommets assure reliable seals against moisture for many years to come.

High Performance
The all copper absorber plate with black chrome selective surface over nickel and full 360° mechanically wrapped fin to tube for highest solar absorption, lowest emissivity and outstanding heat transfer.
